Ultrasound Technologist Part Time

The schedule is Sunday and Monday, 6am-6:30p

As an Ultrasound Tech at Northwest Medical Center Women's Imaging (Mammography) you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA approved school of ultrasonography or radiologic technology.
  • Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment.  
  • Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.  Must be emotionally mature and able to function under stress.
  • BLS required. 
  • ACLS and PALS preferred.
  • Required:
      • ARDMS Registry/Certificate in Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) 
    • -OR-
      • ARRT Registry/Certificate in Radiography
      • -AND- 
      • ARRT Registry/Certificate in Ultrasound. 

About the Job:

  • Under direction of a Radiologist, perform diagnostic ultrasonographic procedures, to include abdominal, pelvic, thoracic, head and neck, obstetric and extremity (non vascular) exams and able to assist in invasive procedures with a practitioner.
