This Surgical Tech position is Full Time days - No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays! No Call!

Great opportunity for an experienced surgical technician in a busy multi-specialty outpatient surgery center.

Working at the Tucson Surgery Center located at 2121 N Craycroft Road, Tucson, AZ 85712

What you'll do:
 
At Tucson Surgery Center you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. 

Assists in the care of the surgical patient by performing surgical tech duties, applying principles of asepsis to perform scrub duties and related activities for surgical procedures, arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed and assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.  Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education Required:

Completion of accredited Surgical Technician program ( preferred )

-OR-

2 years of on-the-job training

-OR-

7 years of experience working in the field

-OR-

Military training program with 2 years surgical tech experience

Experience:

Preferred :  Previous experience as a Surgical Technician.

Licenses/Certifications:

Required: BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C)
