Northwest Tucson Surgery Center on the Northwest Medical Center campus.
This Surgical Tech position is Part-time days with Full Time benefits working 32 hours weekly - No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays and No Call!
Great opportunity for an experienced ST in a busy multi-specialty outpatient surgery center.

Assists in the care of the surgical patient by performing surgical tech duties, applying principles of asepsis to perform scrub duties and related activities for surgical procedures, arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed and assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.
Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education: "Required:
Completion of accredited Surgical Technician program
-OR- 2 years of on-the-job training
-OR- 7 years of experience working in the field
-OR- Military training program with 2 years surgical tech experience"
Licenses/Certifications: "Required: BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) "
