You'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Our OR staff enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401K, flexible scheduling, Tuition Reimbursement, and up to 10K for student loan payments. OR located at Northwest Tucson Surgery Center on the Northwest Medical Center campus. 

Requirements:

Completion of accredited Surgical Technician program
-OR-  2 years of on-the-job training
-OR-  7 years of experience working in the field
-OR-  Military training program with 2 years surgical tech experience

Experience : 2 years prior experience as Surgical Tech required

Licenses/Certifications: Required: BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C)   

 About the Job:

• Assists in the care of the surgical patient applying principles of asepsis to perform scrub duties and related activities for surgical procedures
• Arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed
• Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.

Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
