Surgical Tech Northwest Tucson Surgery Center
This is a PT day shift position at the Northwest Tucson Surgery Center. This position is for 4 - 8 hour shifts, however the position does require staff to stay beyond 8 hours to cover later cases - full time schedule possible.
Great Opportunity - This Surgical Scrub Tech position is part-time days - No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays! Great opportunity for an experienced surgical technician in a busy multi-specialty outpatient surgery center.
Assists in the care of the surgical patient by performing surgical tech duties, applying principles of asepsis to perform scrub duties and related activities for surgical procedures, arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed and assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.
Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Completion of accredited Surgical Technician program
-OR- 2 years of on-the-job training
-OR- 7 years of experience working in the field
-OR- Military training program with 2 years surgical tech experience"
"Required for Cardiovascular Surgical Tech: 2 years previous experience in vascular, cardiac and thoracic cases.
Preferred for Surgical Tech: Previous experience as a Surgical Technician."
Licenses/Certifications: "Required: BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) "
