Supervisor, Lab - FSED - FT
Full time opportunity for a technical supervisor for the laboratory at Northwest Emergency Department at Marana. This is a working (bench) supervisor position to oversee chemistry and hematology. Position Summary: Must be CLIA-qualified as a technical supervisor, with a minimum of 4 years previous laboratory experience. ASCP / AMT certification required with Bachelor's degree in a related science. Organizes and directs the daily activities of the laboratory. Responsible for supervising laboratory personnel, conducting and overseeing quality assurance and quality control, and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting lab results, on a technical level, reports to the lab director and system blood bank supervisor. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks as required, works as a unit with the FSED staff to accomplish collective goals. Good critical thinking skills are essential. Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures is needed. Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
