Part Time Days
As a Sterile Processing Tech at Northwest Hospital, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:
Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
1 year Central Sterilization experience
About the Job:
- Performs all aspects of the sterilization process including decontamination, assembly, packaging and the biological and chemical monitoring of the sterilizers. Acts as a resource to the operating room staff.
- Responsible for requisitioning all autoclaving supplies, instruments and implantable devices used in the daily operation of the department.
- Sterilizes, cleans, wraps, stores and distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment used in patient care. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
