Sterile Processing Tech Part Time

Variable Part Time Position - Combination of Day Shift / Afternoons / Early Evenings - No Weekends, No Call!

$10,000 for Student Loan Repayments

 

As a Sterile Processing Tech at Northwest Tucson Surgery Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience

1 year Central Sterilization experience

About the Job:

  • Performs all aspects of the sterilization process including decontamination, assembly, packaging and the biological and chemical monitoring of the sterilizers. Acts as a resource to the operating room staff.
  • Responsible for requisitioning all autoclaving supplies, instruments and implantable devices used in the daily operation of the department.
  • Sterilizes, cleans, wraps, stores and distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment used in patient care. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
