Speech Therapist
Job Description
This is a part time position, with FT benefits, working at our Northwest Medical Center location.
Summary:
Plans and implements treatment plans for patients according to the principles and practices of speech therapy. Collaborates with the inter-disciplinary team.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: Master's Degree from an accredited program.
Experience:
Preferred: 1 year of acute experience
Skills:
Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License; CCC (ASHA) within 90 days of hire; American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS Certification. For Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card.
