Job Description

This is a 13 week contract, working full time at Northwest Medical Center located at La Cholla & Orange Grove in beautiful, sunny Tucson. The Dialysis team provides patient care at the bedside in a variety of departments. 

Provides professional nursing care at the bedside to assigned patients with kidney conditions that require dialysis treatment. Reviews patient histories, administers medications, and performs dialysis treatments. Ensures dialysis machine and all products used during treatment are properly prepared and meet quality standards. Monitors the patient during dialysis, records observations in patient medical record, and reports any changes in condition to physician as needed.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: 

Required:  Associates or Diploma in nursing program  

Preferred:  Bachelor's degree in nursing 

Experience: 

Clinical experience in Dialysis   

Licenses/Certifications:

Required:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state RN license

American Heart Association OR American Red Cross  BLS & ACLS
