Job Description
This is a full time position working 10 hour day shifts. As a Wound & Ostomy care RN at Northwest Medical Center you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients.
What you'll do:
Coordinates, Plans and Evaluates care of Ostomy patients and patients with compromised skin integrity. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the hospital at the bedside. Provides acute and rehabilitative care for people with select disorders of the GI, GU and integumentary systems. Provides direct patient care to persons with abdominal stomas, wounds, drains, fistulas, wounds and incontinence.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Preferred: Successful completion of Wound and Ostomy Care education program.
Experience: Required: Two (2) years of acute care experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Required:
Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS
WOCN or WCC certification within 12 months of hire.
