Job Description

This is a seasonal contract position, working a 13 week contract, 3 Shifts weekly (39 shifts) in the MSICU unit at Northwest Medical Center 

This opportunity offers a competitive rate for a temporary assignment with possible extensions / additional 13 week assignments!

Either directly or indirectly reporting to a nursing supervisor, plans, directs, participates in and evaluates patient care.  Collaborates with other disciplines to provide optimal care. Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. 

 

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements                                                                

Education:                

Required:  Associates or Diploma in nursing program                                                                                            

Preferred:  Bachelor's degree in nursing                                                

Experience:                

Clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.                                                

Licenses/Certifications:        

Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

American Heart Association (AHA)  or American Red Cross (ARC) - BLS , ACLS
