Position is full time (40 hours weekly) normally scheduled Mon-Fri
Be a part of our System Preadmission department working at Oro Valley Hospital servicing surgical and procedural patients providing superior customer service. This position will require self-motivation, strong communication skills and critical thinking
The RN in Pre-admission testing assesses patients pre-operatively by phone obtain health history and risks for anesthesia. Uses strong critical thinking skills to ascertain knowledge base and needs for the surgical patient. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: Associates or Diploma in nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing
Experience:
Clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
