RN Systems Analyst Sr - Periop Main OR - Full Time working at Northwest Medical Center

Northwest Medical Center has 16 OR's and performs highly specialized cutting edge procedures AND minimally invasive procedures. Join a team of surgical professionals who are performing new cutting edge procedures and taking great care of our patients before and after their procedures. 

 

What you'll do:

Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. 

Responsible for the integrity of the clinical systems in the Perioperative Departments. Coordinates installation, planning and  integration  across all systems,  internally and externally.                                                                 

 Analyzes IS user needs; determines appropriate methodology for solutions ; and implements solutions. Proactively meets with Perioperative management, department staff and physicians and other customers to assess  information needs; emphasizing and developing computer solutions and required process improvements. 

Monitors Clinical system activity for performance issues.  Diagnoses and intervenes to maximize Clinical System performance.  Monitors and supervises system recovery following downtime.  Maintains appropriate Information System dictionaries to ensure optimum functionality.  Effectively communicates the status of all unresolved issues between users, vendors, and management on a regular basis.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required:  Associates degree

Preferred:  Bachelor's degree in nursing                                                

Required:  Four (4) years of clinical experience in OR environment                                        

Licenses/Certifications:

"Required:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)  BLS
