RN Hyperbarics Wound Clinic
Full Time , Monday - Friday - 8 hour shifts (No weekends or On Call shifts) shifts and hours depending on clinic need.
Assist with patient care for treatment preparation, discharge and equipment cleaning related to the delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
The RN in the Outpatient Wound Care Clinic evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care while working alongside a Clinical Nurse Leader, Physicians and Technicians to achieve the best outcome for patients who have a variety of wound care needs.
Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, and self-care skills within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Provides care, evaluates outcomes, consults with interdisciplinary team members as required and adjusts patient care as indicated to ensure optimal care. Effectively identifies predictable problems and plans and provides patient care, based on the age of the patient served. Accurately and legibly documents all assessments, interventions and plan of care according to policies and procedures. Transcribes and reviews all orders and monitors clinical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel. Performs a variety of tasks.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
ADN or Diploma in Nursing Program, BSN preferred.
Clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.
Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS
HBO Certification within 30 days of hire ( internal )
Preferred: WOCN certification
