Rad Tech PRN

As a PRN Rad Tech at Northwest Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. About the Job:

  • Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at appropriate technical level. 
  • Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. 
  • Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required, including specialized areas such as X-ray Radiology.
  • Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medical related  environment.  
  • Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards.

 

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required: Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic technology.

Experience:

Preferred: 1 year Radiology Technologist experience.

Skills:

Ability to follow written and oral instructions and established procedures.

Licenses/Certifications:

Required: CRT license from State of AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE); Registered and certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification.
