Quality and Credentialing Coordinator
Job Description
This is a Full Time Quality and Credentialing Coordinating opportunity supporting Tucson Surgery Center!
Coordinates quality functions and reporting within the QRM Department including physician peer review process, development and coordination of medical care evaluations, focus studies in accordance with standards, rules, other guidelines, and The Joint Commission and other regulatory compliance.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education: Required: Bachelors Degree in business, quality or relevant field
Experience: Required: Three (3) years experience in an ambulatory surgery center or related setting.
Preferred: One (1) year recent (within past 5) experience in Credentialing and Performance Improvement.
Skills: Strong knowledge and understanding of the ambulatory surgery center accreditation standards and CMS and state reulgatory agencies requirements. Ability to utilize systems to gather detailed data and report relevant analyses. Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
