Job Description
This is a full time position working at Oro Valley Hospital.
Summary:
Responsible for medical care evaluation and assessment of events, outcomes and processes. Initiate and oversee efforts related to opportunities for improvement.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Preferred: Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Program; BSN or Bachelor's degree in related field or other clinical specialist degree.
Experience:
Required: Two years experience in a clinical setting.
Preferred: One year experience within past five years in Performance Improvement in an Acute Care setting "
Skills:
Ability to read, communicate, and document effectively through oral, written, or electronic means. Strong data analysis and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and respond promptly to a changing workload. Compile statistics, personal computer skills, coordinate meetings, research information. Knowledgeable in Joint Commission regulations, team facilitation, PI methodology, and National quality initiatives.
Licenses/Certifications:
Preferred: Current AZ RN license or compact state RN license. CPHQ certification.
