This is a Full Time - Day position working at our Northwest Medical Center Prior Authorization department.
General office setting with exposure to computers and telephones. Extended video display and use of keyboard. Must be able to handle stressful environments. Must have personal computer skills, ability to maintain good customer relations, excellent problem solving and communication skills, assist in development of office procedures, able to prioritize, answer multiline telephones, compile statistics.
High School diploma/GED. Two years registration experience with strong medical terminology in hospital setting, insurance and Meditech knowledge. - OR - Equivalent relevant experience or education.
