Physical Therapist Assistant- Full Time
$10,000 for Student Loan Repayments
This is a full time position working at the Skilled Nursing unit and Acute Care in Oro Valley located at 1551 E Tangerine Rd.
As a PhysicalTherapist Assistant, at Northwest Medical Oro Valley, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:
- Required: Associate's Degree Program from an accredited school.
- Experience: Preferred: One (1) year experience assisting Physical Therapist
- Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment;
- Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented;
- Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
- Required: Current Arizona Physical Therapy Assistant Certification.
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS Certification.
- Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card
About the Job:
- Under supervision of the Physical Therapist, performs treatments and provides exercise instruction and demonstration for patients.
- This staff member will primarily be working in our skilled nursing unit (SNU) and occasionally in the acute care floors.
- Staff will be oriented in all areas they will be working in.
