Physical Therapy Assistant
This is a Part time position with Full time benefits, working weekend coverage, with a minimum of two weekend days per month.
Under supervision of the Physical Therapist, performs treatments and provides exercise instruction and demonstration for patients.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Required: Associate's Degree Program from an accredited school.
Preferred: One (1) year experience assisting Physical Therapist
Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
Required: Current Arizona Physical Therapy Assistant Certification. American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS Certification. Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card
