Job Description

This is a Per Diem (as needed) position working day shift on the weekends at Houghton hospital in the Inpatient, acute care department. 

Summary:

Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.

 

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required: Bachelor/Master/or Doctorate degree from an accredited program in physical therapy.

Experience:

Preferred: One (1) year Acute Care experience

Skills:

Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.

Licenses/Certifications:

Required: Current Arizona Physical Therapist license;
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)BLS certification
Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card
