Seeking a licensed, experienced Pharmacy Tech to join our awesome team looking to work part time, 24 hours a week varied shifts at Northwest Medical Center.
Position Purpose
Under the supervision and direction of the Pharmacist, provides assistance to pharmacists who perform pharmaceutical care to patients according to professional standards and practices.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education: "Required:
For Pharmacy Tech: Completion of Pharmacy Tech training program OR has Az State Board of Pharmacy Technician license
For Pharmacy Tech Trainee: Within 90 days start in role, has AZ State Board of Pharmacy Technician license "
Experience: Preferred: 1 year hospital pharmacy tech experience, or 3 years non-hospital pharmacy tech experience
Skills: Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
Licenses/Certifications: "Required:
For Pharmacy Tech: Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Technician license.
For Pharmacy Tech trainee: Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Technician license within 90 days of start in role.
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS certification obtained within first 30 days of employment.
