Rotating Days/Evenings and Weekends
Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions. May be expected to perform related clerical duties. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. May be expected to meet certain state certifications. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Also required is completion of a pharmacy technician program or equivalent on the job training.
Required: Arizona Board of Pharmacy Technician License. American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS Certification.
