Perioperative Services Administrative Specialist Full Time working at Northwest Medical Center

Northwest Medical Center has 16 OR's and performs highly specialized cutting edge procedures AND minimally invasive procedures. Join a team of surgical professionals who are performing new cutting edge procedures and taking great care of our patients before and after their procedures. 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for the timeliness of daily charge entry and revenue reconciliation 

  • Captures daily statistics for reporting to Leaders

  • Runs Case Log reports for Staff and Physicians as requested

  • Assists with entering timecard edits for staff to ensure Payroll deadlines are met

  • Supports Leadership with pulling Cerner data, compiles reports for review, assists with ensuring Quality metrics are being met

  • Submits System Access Requests for employees

  • Manages record retention for offsite storage

Skills Needed:

  • Maintains positive and professional attitude, effective at communication and fostering relationships

  • Must be proficient working with computers and using multiple systems: Word, Excel, Google applications, EMR, etc.

  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of attention to detail

  • Proactive and works well under pressure, meets deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
