Works Full Time at Northwest Medical Center in the Main OR


Responsible for the integrity of the clinical systems in the Perioperative Departments. Coordinates installation, planning and  integration  across all systems,  internally and externally.                                                                 

Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.  Analyzes IS user needs; determines appropriate methodology for solutions ; and implements solutions. Proactively meets with Perioperative management, department staff and physicians and other customers to assess  information needs; emphasizing and developing computer solutions and required process improvements.   Monitors Clinical system activity for performance issues.  Diagnoses and intervenes to maximize Clinical System performance.  Monitors and supervises system recovery following downtime.  Maintains appropriate Information System dictionaries to ensure optimum functionality.  Effectively communicates the status of all unresolved issues between users, vendors, and management on a regular basis.



Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements



Required:  Associates or Diploma in nursing program                                                                                             Preferred:  Bachelors degree in nursing                                                


Required:  Four (4) years of clinical experience in OR environment                                        


Ability to analyze and interpret financial data; gather necessary information ; delegate and support teams; evaluate decisions/solutions; improve work process; make effective decisions.  Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills.                                           

Licenses/Certifications:        Required:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license.

American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)  BLS
