Seeking an experienced, licensed Therapist to join a dedicated, interdisciplinary therapy team in a dynamic acute care setting in beautiful Tucson, Arizona who is looking to work Full time days. Set in a valley amidst four mountain ranges, Tucson offers beautiful views and a wonderful climate where you can hike, bike, golf and swim all year round, but be on the ski slopes within an hour!
Position Purpose
Seeking a dynamic, servant, patient centered leader and therapist for a shared clinical and supervisory role. Our collaborative interdisciplinary team is focused on patient access, patient outcomes and bettering the health and well being of the community that we serve. Reporting to the Director of Therapy Services, this position offers the opportunity to impact department initiatives, employee development and patient recovery. Supervises the delivery of Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy programs in an outpatient setting. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education: "Required: Education commensurate with license as required below.
Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in physical therapy."
Experience: Required: Two (2) years experience in an inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation setting. One (1) year experience in a supervisory role.
Skills: Ability to communicate / provide clear and accurate information in an appropriate manner. Ability to direct, organize, and coach staff for efficient and effective provision of services, and to analyze and interpret workload data. Strong knowledge of inpatient rehab, acute therapies, and outpatient therapies.
Licenses/Certifications: "Required: Current Arizona PT, SLP, or OT license
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS certification.
For Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card"
