$30,000 Sign On Bonus for eligible Physical Therapists!

This is a full time position working at Oro Valley Hospital.

 

Summary:

Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.

This position would be a mix of neurological patients primarily and some orthopedic case load. Preferably the applicant would have experience in CVAs, SCIs, and other neurological conditions. We would also sprinkle in some orthopedic patients when the neuro load diminishes. We provide one on one care for 45-60 minutes per patient and also have Speech Therapy for work on cognitive issues. If the applicant wants they can also work in our IP acute and SNU unit but it is not required.

 

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required: Bachelor/Master/or Doctorate degree from an accredited program in physical therapy.

Experience:

Preferred: One (1) year in acute care

Skills:

Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.

Licenses/Certifications:

Required: Current Arizona Physical Therapist license; American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification. Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card.
