OR Service Coordinator
Job Description
This is a full time position working days at our Northwest Medical Center Houghton location.
Summary:
Responsible for ascertaining resources for Surgical Services utilization. The Coordinator analyzes data, physician’s practices and department processes to make recommendations for resource improvement, serves as a clinical and resource support person for Surgical Services staff and director, oversees IS systems, and serves as the backup surgery scheduler and assists with staff coordination, duties, and assignments when needed. High school diploma or equivalent. College coursework preferred. At least 1 year of experience required.
