OR Billing Systems Coordinator

This is a Full Time Day Shift Perioperative IS Coordinator position supporting Oro Valley Hospital in the OR Mon - Friday!

Primarily responsible for billing and coding, supporting Cerner and Surginet systems , reviewing and processing charges and "bill only's" in the Oracle system.
Works with external OR vendors for surgical implant billing.

Responsible for the integrity of the clinical systems in the Perioperative Departments. Coordinates installation, planning and integration across all systems, internally and externally. Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems in the OR with surgical equipment. Performs system backups and recovery.

Updates Surgeon preference cards as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. 

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Highly Preferred: Associates degree

Experience:

Required : Two (2) years Operating Room or related healthcare experience as an RN, Surgical Tech or Anesthesia Tech or related 

AND

Required: Four (4) years of relevant computer hardware and application experience
