Job Description
This is a part time position working as the lead Registered Dietary Tech at Oro Valley Hospital.
Summary:
Monitors nutritional care, manages physician-ordered therapeutic diets and provides nutritional education for patients, staff and community.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: Associates degree in foods/nutrition.
Experience:
Required: One (1) to Three (3) years experience in dietetics
Skills:
Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR-CDR) For Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card
