Job Description
This is a Nursing Supervisor position working day shift in the Med Surg unit at Northwest Medical Center.
Provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management. Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise. Supervises nurses and staff and takes administrative responsibilities. Leads and directs the work of others. Bachelor's degree in nursing. At least 5-7 years of experience. Licensure as a registered nurse (RN).
This unit serves a wide variety of patients with diverse needs. Patients we serve include those with acute and chronic illnesses who may require medical, surgical, and end-of-life care. Medical-Surgical Nursing is not only the foundation of nursing practice, it has also evolved into a healthcare specialty. Come and join our dynamic team!
