Nursing Director - Special Procedures
Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care; advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Directs the establishment and implementation of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. Generally manages professional staff. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree within 2 years of employment in the role.
Preferred: Masters degree ( i.e. MSN, MHA or MBA).
Required: Five (5) years of relevant professional experience, including three (3) years in leadership.
Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license and American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS;
Preferred: Nationally recognized certification in area of expertise.
