Nursing Director - Houghton
This is the full time Nursing Director responsible for the inpatient areas at Northwest Medical Center Houghton. The Nursing Director oversees operations for ICU, MedSurg, Inpatient Wound Care, PICC Team, and Dialysis with Manager support.
Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care; advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Directs the establishment and implementation of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. Generally manages professional staff.
Required: Bachelors degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree within 2 years of employment in the role.
Preferred: Masters degree ( i.e. MSN, MHA or MBA).
Required: Five (5) years of relevant professional experience, including three (3) years in leadership.
Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license and American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS
Preferred: Nationally recognized certification in area of expertise.
