Nurse Tech ACT
This is a Full Time Night shift position working at Northwest Medical Center.
The Nurse Tech in Telemetry provides basic nursing care to patients under direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs and changes bed linens. May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment. Cleans, sterilizes, stores and prepares other supplies. Works under immediate supervision.
Hospital experience preferred. Enrolled nursing students encouraged to apply.
Night shift is 1830-700
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
High School or equivalent required.
Post High School vocational / specialized training preferred.
One (1) year experience in hospital or nursing home highly preferred.
Required: "BLS certification" American Heart Association
