This is a full time position working at Oro Valley Hospital.
Summary:
Performs nuclear medicine examinations, practicing safe handling and injections of radio pharmaceuticals.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: Graduation from an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.
Experience:
Preferred (for all facilities except OVH): One (1) year nuclear medicine experience; Experience as a radiology technologist and/or radiation therapy technologist.
Required (for OVH facility): One (1) year nuclear medicine experience
Skills:
Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) licensure by AZ Dept of Health Services (ADHS). American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification.
