Job Description
RN New Graduate Residency Program at Northwest Medical Center and Oro Valley Hospital.
Position will be full time working 12 hours shifts in an assigned dept and shift.
The RN New Grad program is an 8-12 week program guideline - Program starts July 18th 2022
*Must have RN License prior to start date
Examples of opportunities that will be available at in the following departments :
Telemetry , Medical Oncology , Neurology , MedSurg Ortho , MedSurg , Rehab
ICU , Cardiovascular ICU , MedSurg ICU , Acute Care Telemetry , Emergency Room
The Registered Nurse evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education: Required: Associates or Diploma in nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing
Licenses/Certifications:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS
