Job Description

This is a Per Diem (as needed) position working at Oro Valley Hospital.

 

Summary:

Performs various MRI diagnostic test for patients as ordered. May include breast biopsy or other invasive procedures.

 

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required: Graduate of an accredited two year program in MRI or radiologic technology

Experience:

Preferred: 2 years experience in MRI and/or CT modalities

Skills:

Familiarity with cross-sectional anatomy or currently enrolled in cross-sectional anatomy course, Multi-Detector CT scanners and Protocols for the various exams and with safe Intravenous Injections practice and use of Power Injectors. Familiar with principles of MRI Safety.

Licenses/Certifications:

Required: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification. One of the following: CRT license from ADHS Division of Special Licensing OR Advanced certification through ARRT or ARMRIT.
