Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist
This is a full time position working at Northwest Medical Center.
Performs diversified duties of considerable responsibility to support the Medical Staff and Hospital Departments.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Non-specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
Required: Two year in hospital or related medical credentialing
Experience in Hospital Privilege and Credentialing
Strong Organizational Skills
Attention to Detail
Writing and Computer skills
Good people skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Good understanding of medical terminologies
Strong Research Skills
Understanding of State Laws and Regulations
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred.
