Medical Scribe - ICU
This position is full-time working rotating shifts dependent on Physician scheduling in the ICU.
Position Summary: A fully integrated component assisting and facilitating the physician with the clerical management of their emergency room patients. Responsibilities include: assisting physician with charting, tracking test completion and results in a timely manner, communicates to the physician abnormal test results, facilitating patient discharge paperwork, open communication with clinical team and facilitates an organized, meticulously accurate patient record and tracks patient flow.
Availability: Must have full-time 24/7 availability for full-time position and availability for 8-12 shifts a month for part-time position. The work week is Sunday through Saturday, variable hours and shifts. The schedule comes out at least two weeks prior to the following month for the entire next month. Shifts are scheduled from 8-12 hours you must stay until you and your physician have finished all your patients, which may be more hours than scheduled. Regularly work irregular and additional hours. Cross training between the Emergency Room and ICU. Full-time is considered 16 or more shifts a month. Part-time is considered availability for 8-12 shifts a month. Scribes must be able to work at Northwest Medical Center , Northwest Medical Center ICU, Oro Valley Hospital, Marana Freestanding ED, Vail Freestanding ED, Sahuarita Emergency Room and any CHS ED/facility that might be added to the roster.
