Job Description
This is a Full Time, Day Shift, Medical Assistant position supporting our Primary Care Clinic located at 6060 N Fountains Plaza Dr. STE 270.
Summary:
Performs patient care activities under the supervision of a provider. Assists providers with medical procedures and office administrative processes as required.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: High School diploma/GED, and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program
(Note: If hired prior to 4/1/2021, equivalent experience is allowed in lieu of HS diploma/GED)
OR Current Certified Medical Assistant as noted in License/Certification section of these Position Requirements.
Experience:
Preferred: Six (6) months experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program at NH.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification.
Within 90 days of hire date, must have one of these certifications: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) issued by AAMA, CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) issued by NHA, NCMA (National Certified Medical Assistant) issued by NCCT or, the RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) issued by AMT.
