Manager of Quality and Performance Improvement
Manages and implements the quality management and performance improvement programs for a healthcare facility. Oversees quality assurance and compliance functions. Ensures programs and services are implemented at the highest standards and patients receive the highest level of care. Responsible for monitoring and updating policies and procedures to include regulatory changes. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Requires a bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of experience, RN license or CPHQ certification preferred. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
