Manager of Case Management
Full Time salaried position working at Northwest Medical Center
The Manager of Case Management is responsible for assisting with all the daily operations of the case management department. The manager assists the department director in employee supervision, management, and training; data research and analysis; development and implementation of quality initiatives designed to support defined objectives. Guides team in resource management. Maintains the standard for a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation and advocacy for patients in our care. Individualizes services to meet patient's health care needs by utilizing available resources to promote quality outcomes. The manager will act in the role of a staff case manager when needed.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) required
Required: Five (5) years experience in the area of specialty, and two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
Acting with integrity, analyzing and interpreting financial data, computer literacy, gathering needed information, delegating and supporting teams, evaluating decisions/solutions, improving work process, making effective decisions. Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills. Measuring customer service and meeting customer needs. Partnering with customers/others, promoting NMC mission, vision and values. Utilizing communication channels and Valuing diversity.
Required: Current AZ RN Licensure or compact state RN license or LMSW license.
Preferred: Case Management or Utilization Management certification
