Job Description

This is a full time Carpenter position working at Northwest Medical Center.

The Carpenter would complete incoming work orders and be involved in room relocations and office/room
refreshes. The Carpenter should be experienced with removing molding, installing acrovyn wall board, working
with cove base, installing/repairing door and door frames, and countertop and cabinet repair/replacement.
The Carpenter will be working alone and occasionally in small groups. Experience in a healthcare setting is a
plus.
Work hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. On occasion, hours may flex as projects and emergencies
dictate.

Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Performs engineering design evaluations. May develop a range of products. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience. A Journey Level Tradesman may qualify for this position.
