Maintenance 2 - Generalist

This is a Full Time Position working approximately 60% at Northwest Medical Center Sahuarita, and 40% at Northwest Medical Center Houghton.

Position Purpose:

Responsible for a variety of maintenance, repair and construction duties of a micro facility. Also responsible for facility security duties.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Experience:

Required: Two (2) years building maintenance of structures.

Skills:

Building construction and maintenance. Read blueprints and diagrams. Variety of "handyman" skills. Communication skills to manage challenging situations and de-escalate. Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.

Licenses/Certifications:

Required: Valid Arizona Driver's License
For Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card
