Life Safety Coordinator
This Maintenance Tech / Life Safety Coordinator position working at Oro Valley Hospital and Northwest Transitions
Purpose: Responsible for Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and systems and the building life safety feature assets on the Building Maintenance Program (BMP) to comply with NFPA Life Safety Code. Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the above referenced equipment throughout facility. This position requires a good working knowledge of electrical systems and ensure compliance of NFPA Life Safety code as relative to a healthcare environment.
Education - High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Post high school vocational / specialized training (i.e., electrician, etc.).
Experience - Three (3) years mechanical & electrical experience required, with experience in a hospital environment strongly preferred. NFPA 101 life safety code knowledge preferred.
