Job Description

This IS Support Tech position is full-time working days for Northwest Healthcare.

 

Summary:

This IS Support Tech position provides IT support for Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Sahuarita Hospital, Houghton Hospital, and remote locations.

Responsible for providing technical support for computer hardware, peripherals, software applications and operating system needs. Provides basic support on servers and networks. Answers help desk phones and performs ticket intake as well as tier 1 and tier 2 troubleshooting.

 

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Associates degree; minimum of 2 IS related courses completed; System Certification.

Experience:

Required: Two (2) years experience providing technical support for computer software, hardware and operating systems or equivalent.
Preferred: IS experience in healthcare environment and general knowledge of Electronic Medical Records.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills required. Ability to read, communicate, and document effectively through oral, written, and electronic means. Previous computer experience and excellent customer service skills. Ability to prioritize, problem solve and respond promptly to a changing workload, and to work independently with minimal direct supervision as well as work well in a team environment.

Licenses/Certifications:

Required: Valid Driver's License
