Interim Manager of Nursing
This is an Interim assignment in the MSICU at Northwest Medical Center. The Interim Nurse Manager will oversee all operations in the MSICU for a short term assignment.
Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care; advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Directs the establishment and implementation of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. Generally manages professional staff.
Required: Associate's degree in Nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor's or Masters degree ( i.e. MSN, MHA or MBA).
Required: Three (3) years of relevant professional experience, including one (1) year in leadership.
Preferred: Previous experience in short term leadership roles.
Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license and American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS
Preferred: Nationally recognized certification in area of expertise.
