Job Description

This is a part time Days Shift position working in the Emergency Services Department at Northwest Medical Center

Position Purpose
Provides basic care to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.


Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: Preferred: Post High School vocational / specialized training.

Experience: Preferred: One (1) year experience in acute care hospital or emergency setting.

Skills: Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
Licenses/Certifications: Required: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification.
