Job Description

Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care, maintaining required staffing and acting as a liaison between the Hospital administration and the staff in the surgical suites and PACU, PAT, SPU, and Central Sterile Processing.   BSN or Bachelor's degree in a health related field required. 

Education

Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree within 2 years of employment in the role.
Preferred: Masters degree ( i.e. MSN, MHA or MBA).

Experience

Required: Five (5) years of relevant professional experience, including three (3) years in leadership.

License and Certification

Required:
All Directors: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license and American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS;
ACT, ED, ICU & Telemetry Directors: ACLS
Preferred: Nationally recognized certification in area of expertise.
